Sawmill-Furniture
The Company has taken over the abandoned Sawmill of the Forest Department at Pipli on lease basis in the month of April 2007. After taking over, the existing buildings were renovated and the Corporation installed the required machinery to run the Sawmill and workshop. A seasoning kiln run by solar energy was also installed in the premises of sawmill at Pipli, Kurukshetra. Government of Haryana has declared HFDC as approved source for round and sawn materials of various timber, wooden furniture, firewood and wooden crates.
